KiNiK is an animated TV series where the unhealed dead carve themselves into the body of one young Black man — and the past refuses to stay buried.
Each night, Set is pulled into a supernatural loop — dragged through the last breaths of Emmett Till, Rodney King, Breonna Taylor, George Floyd, and others whose stories shaped a nation.
Blending ancestral mysticism, Egyptology, psychological horror, and social truth — KiNiK exposes the violence America tries to forget, and the reckoning that refuses to stay buried.
Because you can't Ctrl + Alt + Del our existence.
I wrote this story because our history — our truth — continues to be rewritten, sanitized, ignored, or erased. For many of us, these losses live on our bodies every day.
KiNiK is not just entertainment. It is memory. It is protest. It is reclamation. A love letter to Black life, and a confrontation with the systems that try to destroy it.
Not AI. Not rough frames. A real, hand-crafted teaser made with award-winning animators specializing in hybrid 2D/3D — visually in the lineage of Arcane, Blue Eye Samurai, and The Boondocks.
A 90–120s professionally animated, action-driven proof-of-concept.

Every contribution still ships craft. Below the $17.5K minimum, funds are allocated proportionally to character design, storyboarding, and a scaled animatic — preserving the integrity of the pitch package, with a transparent update sent to every backer.
