The Plot

He wakes with their wounds on his body.

When a young Black man named Set begins waking with the bruises, scars, and wounds of racial violence victims carved into his skin, he discovers he has become the unwilling vessel for America's unhealed dead.

Each night, Set is pulled into a supernatural loop — dragged through the last breaths of Emmett Till, Rodney King, Breonna Taylor, George Floyd, and others whose stories shaped a nation.

Blending ancestral mysticism, Egyptology, psychological horror, and social truth — KiNiK exposes the violence America tries to forget, and the reckoning that refuses to stay buried.

I wrote this story because our history — our truth — continues to be rewritten, sanitized, ignored, or erased. For many of us, these losses live on our bodies every day.

KiNiK is not just entertainment. It is memory. It is protest. It is reclamation. A love letter to Black life, and a confrontation with the systems that try to destroy it.

When will the teaser be released? +

If we hit our $25K goal, the animated teaser premieres within 6 months. Backers get early access two weeks before the public release.

What happens if we don't reach the goal? +

Pea6 requires 80% of the goal to release funds. If we fall short, you are not charged. We'll regroup, refine, and relaunch.

Who owns the rights to KiNiK? +

KiNiK is independently owned by creator Stephen Myles. Funds raised go directly toward production — no studio interference, no creative compromise.

Can I share the campaign instead of pledging? +

Yes — and please do. Sharing is the single biggest signal we can send to networks that this story has an audience waiting.

How are physical rewards shipped? +

Prints, books, and tangible rewards ship worldwide within 3 months of campaign close. Shipping is included in tier prices.
